Beethoven’s Triple Concerto is one of his most glorious compositions. It’s also a rarity as a concerto for a trio (violin, cello and piano) with orchestra and his only concerto featuring the cello. The Triple Concerto is grand yet intimate and above all most beautiful.
FCO is thrilled Rebecca Glorie (violin), Melinda Forsythe (cello) and Tommaso Pollio (piano), all members of Chimera, feature as soloists. With the fabulous John Keene as conductor this promises to be a highlight of your 2024 concert season.
Schubert's Symphony 1 is disarmingly charming, exuberant and grand, the perfect opener.
