About Bandonegro: Founded in 2010 in Poznań, Poland, Bandonegro is composed of four exceptionally talented musicians: Michał Główka (bandoneon/accordion), Jakub Czechowicz (violin), Marcin Antkowiak (double bass), and Marek Dolecki (piano). Their mission is to explore and showcase the rich and diverse world of tango, captivating audiences with their innovative sound and dynamic performances.

Achievements and Performances: At the tender age of 18, Bandonegro garnered international acclaim by winning the "Tango Nuevo" category at the “PIF Castelfidardo” competition in Italy. Their extensive concert tours have taken them to over 30 countries across 4 continents, gracing prestigious stages such as the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival in Germany, the Copenhagen Jazz Festival in Denmark, and the Buenos Aires Tango World Cup in Argentina.

Collaborations and Recordings: Bandonegro has worked with some of the most esteemed artists and producers from the Latin American music scene. They have released five albums, including the groundbreaking “Hola Astor,” which merges tango with jazz and rock influences. Their upcoming album, due for release in early 2025, features original compositions recorded in Buenos Aires with contributions from prominent Argentine jazz musicians.
