Geelong composer and musician Michael Hannan's works will be brought to life in this Inspired by Nature program.

The centrepiece of the program is Michael's work, Sounding Basho, for trumpet and percussion, a 25-minute work commissioned by Nick Hewett. Other works on the program are Birdsong Rhapsody I for solo clarinet, Birdsong Rhapsody II for solo flute, Star Cycle for solo vibraphone and 13 Ways of Looking at a Butcherbird for solo piano.
