Australian Singer/Songwriter Rune Alith offers up heart opening songs. A cross pollination of Contemporary-Melancholy-Folk-Pop. Understated piano arrangements accompany her honest, expressive voice.

Rune’s performances of the past 4 years have gained a reputation for their transformative approaches to unique and unexpected settings. She is grateful to have supported respected Woman in music Kasey Chambers and Wendy Matthews and her band in recent years giving Rune the opportunity to reach more listeners sharing her often unexpected approach to performance. Having made a point of intimate shows being film, recording and photo free, she offers one time experiences to those who come along making these shows small time capsules offered only to those present.

This years appearence at Four Winds will mark the pre-launch for her upcoming Album. The show is titled 'End of an Era'. What Rune calls 'A Melecholy-Folk-Pop love letter to the wonderful Far South Coast community that have supported her'.

Four Winds Windsong Pavilion is a state of the art facility designed by architect Clinton Murray and is an acoustically pristine performance space.

This performance will celebrate and bookend an emotional body of work.

Over the previous four years Rune has collaborated and performed alongside Max Garner Tucker (Trombone) Elizabeth Andalis (Violin), Chris Costello (Keys), Cale Phelps (Guitar), Anatoli Torjinski (Cello) and Robbie Hart (Crystal Sound Bowls - Celestial Orchestra). This year she will be accompanied by secret special guests. 'It is a true honour and joy to have joined forces with these incredible artists . They are all so generous in their offerings of personal timbre, adding layers and textures I could only have dreamed of. ' RA

The fruits of Rune’s musical labour reflect her varied life circumstances and perspectives on the human experience. Enriched by her visceral and poignant storytelling approach. Rune hopes the tapestry of her songwriting can speak to the listeners own life experiences.

Previous intimate shows have been noted by audience members as 'The most raw and moving performance I have been blessed to watch' and 'Piercing my heart, so warm, endearing and heartfelt'.

Last year Rune released her debut film clip 'Black Is The Colour' Filmed and Edited by Tyge Landa. Examples of her work can be found on Spotify, Apple Music and many of the usual contemporary haunts. Rune Alith’s recent original single releases ‘I'll Find My Way' , 'For A While', 'Somewhere Nowhere' and recorded live cover version of 'Strange Fruit' originally performed by Billy Holiday and Nina Simone has struck an emotional chord with listeners. Please Note - There will be no bar or food available on the night (you will be given a complimentary drink on arrival). The Windsong Pavilion is an enclosed building and there is no food to be consumed inside. We recommend you eating before you arrive. This will be a seated performance, with a 15 minute interval at the half way mark for a toilet break and stretch.
