There has been a northern soul scene in Adelaide for more than 30 years, Adelaide Soul City is the continuation of that legacy.
We are a collaborative of like-minded soul music lovers who promote and run soul music events on a regular basis in Adelaide. While our music policy has northern soul at its heart there is always something for everyone. Northern soul, sixties and seventies soul, sixties R&B, Tamla Motown, crossover, even a bit of latin soul and modern jazz if the groove fits!
The main criteria is danceable, feel good music played in a friendly and sociable atmosphere. Everybody is welcome, why not join us and get those feet tapping and heads nodding. Better still, get out on the floor...
