Based on the music of Queen, We Will Rock You is set 300 years in the future in a futuristic and globally corporate world. The musical tells the story of a renegade group known as the Bohemians, who struggle to restore the free exchange of thought and culture (and Rock n Roll!) in a vaguely Orwellian society.
With all the great Queen classics, We Will Rock You takes you back to the 1970’s, 80s & 90s and simultaneously 300 years into the future. In a futuristic and globally corporate world controlled by the Globalsoft Corporation where rock music is banned, audiences will be entertained by Ben Elton’s clever and witty script, the iconic hits of Queen and a St John’s Grammar cast and crew of over 45 students rocking the JBC stage like never before!
Drinks will be available to purchase before the show and during interval (apart from the Matinee).
