About
The Manjimup Bluegrass & OldTime Music Weekend is on again - 20-23 September - the King’s Birthday Weekend. Started in 2012, it’s a unique music event which focuses on learning new skills from experienced musicians and, best of all, making music and making friends.
The High Street Drifters, a vibrant young band, based Melbourne and Adelaide will be running workshops in mandolin, guitar, double bass and fiddle. Joey Gibson, a W.A. musician, will be running banjo workshops.
It’s a bring your instrument music event for weekend ticket holders who’ll take part in workshops Saturday and Sunday.
The Saturday night concert with The High Street Drifters at Tall Timbers Brewery will be a highlight of the weekend. This is the band’s first visit to WA and their only performance will be in Manjimup.
