A mesmerising program that explores the sheer majesty and beauty of life. This extraordinary performance weaves together timeless classics by Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky and Smetana with a new creation by Australian composer Maria Grenfell. Extraordinary 15-year-old MetSO Young Artist and violinist Audrey Jarvis will perform Wieniawski’s richly melodic and deeply emotional violin concerto no 2, plus renowned Perth conductor Sara Duhig.
