"I thought I wanted more time..."

prchr. returns to headline the Tomcat stage on May 10 and make a mess of the valley alongside his homies, Nonberk. He will be playing songs from his debut concept record 'Album One: everything that's wrong with me', set to drop on July 11.

Even the most prominent artists of today’s age wouldn't dare craft such heavy and reckless material like prchr. (pronounced percher) has with his authentic sound. Sure, everyone writes about life and how much it sucks, but he KNOWS the reality of the world he competes in and as soon as he chose his new name and rechristened himself for everyone to see in late 2021, it was a promise prchr. made to his listeners and followers that his music was and always will be for them.

Rising to be one of the most premier upcoming artists to tackle the industry, the 24-year old progresses on building both himself and his community by focusing on writing on the themes of isolation, love and fake people that speak directly to his listeners' hearts. Not to mention also cranking it to 11 with his massive, distinctive octave fuzz tones that’ll turn heads instantly. This is all shown in his debut: Album One: everything that’s wrong with me. The highly anticipated record not only features prchr. classics, but also sets the stage for an expanded catalogue of new rock era ballads to help tell the album’s story and concept.

The 10 track album follows the themes of escapism as in the album’s storyline, prchr. is found running away from toxic relationships and self-doubt, to ultimately reach the city airport to find a new life. Every track represents a different suburb of the rocker’s hometown, the Gold Coast, QLD, from the north end to the south, which takes the listener on a journey through the beachside metropolis and through the different stages prchr. feels as he makes his escape. Will he be able to make it through in the end and break out of this vicious cycle he’s found himself in? How the first chapter in the prchr. saga ends, you will have to follow along to this listening experience to find out.
