The Meet the Monsters Mega Mini Tour returns to Newcastle in May 2024 for a mind-bending journey through the sonic realms of stoner/desert rock riffage and post-metal chaos.

Melbourne monstrosities Planet of the 8s and A Gazillion Angry Mexicans will be joined by Sydney’s almighty Robot God and local leviathans Psychoda.

The meditative grooves and soulful melodies of Planet of the 8s have marked them as Australia’s pre-eminent desert/stoner rock trio. Masters of massive guitar tones and ethereal ambience, their visceral live show is set to once again level the steel city in a maelstrom of thunderous beats.

On a direct collision course, A Gazillion Angry Mexicans will unleash a ferocious onslaught of raw energy, weaving tales of monstrous fury with their blistering post-metal/stoner anthems. Red-hot off the back off some UK touring, their set is an uncompromising maw of sonic destruction.
